I’m Amy – the face behind The Blonde Chapter.

There is honestly nothing I love more than getting lost in a book. Give me a cosy corner, a stack that’s far too tall for my TBR shelf, a blanket, a cup of tea (or wine… depending on the hour), and I’m completely gone to the real world. Plot twists? Obsessed. Unreliable narrators? Yes please. Small-town cosy mysteries? I’ll pack my bags immediately.

By day, I’m a primary school teacher and Head of English, so stories are very much my everyday life. I spend my time helping children fall in love with reading… and then come home and fall headfirst into another thriller myself. Books aren’t just a hobby for me – they’re comfort, escape, excitement and sometimes therapy.

On The Blonde Chapter, I share my completely honest, sometimes dramatic, always heartfelt thoughts on whatever I’m currently reading. From gripping thrillers and twisty mysteries to cosy reads and the occasional emotional rollercoaster, if it makes me feel something, I want to talk about it.
